CORRIDOR PRESERVATION IN ACTION

A new tool for the LaDOTD has been developed to help the design team and the general public monitor right of way acquisitions for the project corridor over time. This tool is called the I-49 Right of Way Information Management System (RIMS). It graphically shows the project corridor with parcels which are in the process of being aquired and also properties that may need to be aquired based on preliminary geometric designs.
